Melanie on vacation from Germany visiting the Hermosa Farmers’ market
One of my favorite places go on Friday is the Hermosa Beach Farmers’ Market. Half the town descends on a little patch of grass near the police station to pick up locally grown fruits, veggies and flowers and everybody is always in a good mood.
I spotted Melanie, 41, who was visiting family in Hermosa Beach from Germany wandering around tasting fruit and looking summer time chic.
I love her black and white patterned tank with wide black straps (similar $30) and her Ray Bans are perfect for a farmers’ market fun with the family. Her denim skirt ($80) goes perfectly with the loud top, and the length is perfect.
There are a whole lot of distressed denim skirts available out there, but for some reason I prefer a simple skirt without any rips or tares that isn’t show your whoo-ha short. It’s a great day-to-night wardrobe staple and like a good pair of jeans, looks good with almost anything.
